REPORT ON ACTIVITIES AT SCHOOL ON WEEK 4

Hello everyone,

I am pleased to inform you that we are in the fourth week of this term. Bether Atieno is in charge of this week and she will do a report soon in the future. However, I have the following to report about:

  1. sanitation or cleaning department

We received the money sent for the equipment and up to now, we have bought them and they are now happy to use them well. We managed to get all the items as they requested. However, their protective clothes are still being worked on by a local tailor just in the school’s neighborhood. They will get the as soon as they will be done.

  1. Girls latrine

Again we had the mason who quoted the cost of building the latrine at school. He checked, approved and has already started digging the pit where the rooms will stand. The 30 feet deep 4-door latrine will help the girls of both schools; the mother school Anyona and st. Christine girls’. Already the digging of the pit is on and hopefully end this week it will be finished and construction should be started next week.

  1. Ball games equipment

This term we shall have two major co-curriculum activities;ball games and music. We requested for ballgames equipment and we have again managed to purchase them successfully and this will enable us to practice better and again take part in the competitions as soon as they will start soon.

Attached alongside are photos of the above.

Warm regards,

Augustine.

WEEK 2 TERM 2,2018 REPORT

It is our second week in school. We are doing well, and we had a good start of the term.By now,all our learners have reported back to school and they  happily learn.Teachers and other employees are also well.Every member behaves responsibly here,as we undertake our daily duties.

This term is equally long as term one,of 14 weeks. So far,we are moving on well.Hopefully you too are good. However,we are experiencing alot of rains that has turned to be destructive;with the hail stones, crops have been sort of destroyed in some areas, particularlly here, when it seriously rained last weekend. We hope they will rejuvinate.Though as at now they are not good.

Attached herein are also photos of some events at school.

Week 13 report, March 2018

Week 13 Report

Hello, it is important to remind you that we are on our last ends this term. Our pupils completed the exams today. Standard eight pupils sat for a zonal test while the other pupils did an internal test. The teachers are now very busy marking the papers and compiling results. We shall share with you as soon as they will be ready.

Again, we have had the ECDE singing game team seriously carrying out their practices geared towards the national competitions which start on 4th April, 2018 in Nairobi. We always wish them the very best.

Finally, we want to appreciate your concern for the school. You always work hard to fund every activity here, we also work hard to make it a friendly learning environment for our pupils. All the best always. We have then gone home for the Easter holidays till Tuesday next week when we shall return to school.

Regards,

Augustine and Philgona

Week 10 report, March 2018

Week 10 Term 1 2018, report

Hi everyone,

Receive much greetings from st.christine school,Kabondo. We hope you are doing well back in Sweden, despite the cold weather. In Kenya, we have strted to experience long rain, hence cold weather that has resulted to some illness. However, i’m glad to report as the teacher who was incharge of week 10 this term that pupils and employees reported to school  well, thereby enabling the smooth running of school activities.

During the week, our drama team continued to practice in preparation for the Nyanza regional festivals which would be held soon.We wish them well.

Again, we have also initiated some farm projects like sowing of vegetable seeds. We expect the rains for a longer time to enable us some good returns. On Friday,we had a spiritual assembly led by our teachers to collectively teach our pupils. This also helps the young ones here to grow morally upright.

Finally, i want to wish you well all and thank you for your continued support towards the schools activities.

James.
